WebShock designs and builds websites for owner-run trade and home-improvement businesses in Bournemouth, Poole and Christchurch. That means landscapers, builders, joiners, roofers, driveway and patio installers, and the smaller firms that do extensions and refurbishments. The aim of each site is simple: show the work clearly, explain what the business does, and make it easy for a customer nearby to ask for a quote.
Most of our clients are businesses of one to about twenty people, run by someone who is on site as much as in an office. They usually have a decent website or none at all, they have plenty of photographs on a phone, and they lose work to firms with a tidier online presence rather than better workmanship.
Every project covers the same fundamentals: a page structure built around the jobs you actually sell, wording that a customer can read in a hurry, a layout that works on a phone, a short enquiry form, and the search basics so the site can be found for your services and your towns. Anything beyond that, such as brand positioning or ongoing content, is agreed before work starts.
